Refractory Mortar

Refractory mortars include fire clay and ceramic fibre blankets. These are a form of mortar that can withstand high temperatures. The said products are a variety of aluminosilicate minerals with good refractory qualities and heat resistance. Bricks, pottery, cement, and refractory linings are all made with fire clays. These items possess minerals like halloysite, nacrite, dickite, and kaolinite. Refractory mortars are useful for lining furnaces, making fire bricks, and producing tools needed in the metalworking industries, such as crucibles, saggars, retorts, and glassware due to their resistance against high temperatures and high fusion points.
